Reading Comprehension: 

  1. Learn how to draw key details from different text types, including fiction and non-fiction articles.
  2. Improve analytical skills by making connections with key details, knowledge and inferences.
  3. Improve vocabulary and definitions to comprehend and answer key questions.

Math – Topics include:

  1. Practice with arithmetic operations and strategies: Addition/ Subtraction/ Multiplication/ Division
  2. Learn how to apply arithmetic operations on word problems
  3. Practice important math concepts and topics including geometry, money, time and statistics

Robotics and Coding: Fun with Lego 2.0 and Wonder workshop

  1. Understand the components of Robotics materials including motors, connecting parts and other building blocks.
  2. Connect the construction of robotics with the program applications in order to understand the concepts of automation.
  3. Learn how to use simple commands and codes to understand the concepts of looping and setting conditions.

Creative Writing

  1. Understand the constructs of a story and how to set the plots, characters and ending of a story.
  2. Have fun to create the characters and draw the story boards.
  3. Present a story as narrator and act the story as a drama with conversations, staging the plots and making simple costumes.

Arts and culture

  1. Get creative experiences with different types of paints and other art media.
  2. Apply different art skills on drawing and painting landscape, characters, and figures from different cultures.
  3. Create interesting art projects including the evolution and habitats of dinosaurs.

Science Fun

  1. Cooking – Learn to make edible dishes with fruits and vegetables.
  2. Baking – How to make doughs of cookies, decorate cupcakes and pizza.
  3. Ooey Gooey – Making different types of clay by changing forms of substances and understanding concepts of volume and density.
  4. Electronics and Magnets – Understand the concepts of electricity and conductivity. Create different projects with magnets and snap circuits.
